Pre-Conference Workshops
DEADLINE: August 9, 2019 at 5:00 PM Eastern

Pre-Conference Workshops are sessions designed for the critical and in-depth examination of a phenomenon or a focused area of nursing research and the compilation of those findings into a venue for the generation of new knowledge for nursing.

  • Half-day workshops are allotted 3.5 hours and are presented in two sections with one 15-minute break.
  • Full day workshops are allotted 7 hours and are presented in 4 sections with two 15-minute breaks and a break for lunch.

The program planning committee is interested in submissions related to innovative and/or new methodologies, conduct of research, and analytic approaches  for pre-conference sessions. Potential topics might include: recruitment of vulnerable and minority populations, dyadic data analysis, Community Based Participatory Research Methods. Pre-conference workshops can have one or multiple presenters.

Why submit for a pre-conference workshop?  Offering a pre-conference workshop provides great faculty and institution exposure, great opportunity for networking and increasing potential for faculty recruitment, validation of the importance of your work, and knowledge sharing!

Pre-Conference Workshops will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
