2027 Call for RIIG Award Nominations
Belonging to a Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) Research & Implementation Interest Group (RIIG) is a remarkable way to network, find and provide mentorship, meet research collaborators, partner in research and implementation, hone your leadership skills, grow as a professional, and develop your potential. Another benefit of RIIG membership is access to apply for RIIG Awards. These awards are designed to recognize members of each RIIG who are in different stages of their careers.
New this year, and at the direction of the MNRS Board of Directors, the RIIG Awards will now be managed by the Awards Committee. The Awards Committee has developed a smaller, standardized set of RIIG Awards to increase the prestige and visibility of these recognitions across the Society.
Any individual or RIIG group may nominate a RIIG member for a RIIG award. Self nominations are welcome.
Below you will find the five RIIG Awards, along with their descriptions and eligibility criteria. A total of five awards will be presented during this year's MNRS Awards Ceremony. Recipients will be recognized on stage and will receive one complimentary night of hotel accommodations.
Award submissions for 2027 are open and will end on September 15, 2026
