The MNRS 51st Annual Research Conference will take place on March 31 through April 3, 2027, at the Amway Grand Plaza by Hilton & DeVos Place Convention Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This year’s conference will explore the theme: Bridging Healthcare Access through Nursing Scholarship, Partnership, Policy, and Practice.

The MNRS Program Planning Committee is diligently crafting a dynamic and impactful conference program, to ensure a robust and highly relevant experience.

 

MEETING OBJECTIVES:

    • Examine nursing scholarship that advances healthcare access by generating evidence-based interventions that address structural, geographic, and social barriers.
    • Discuss effective community and other interprofesional partnerships that leverage nursing expertise to expand access to care.
    • Evaluate the translation of research into practive and policy that improves access, quality, and continuity of care across community and clinical settings.
    • Explore innovation, strategies, and sustainability to strengthen the nursing workforce.

Registration for the 2027 Conference will open in mid-September

Registration Cancellation Policy

A partial refund will be honored before February 12, 2027, less a $50 service fee. No refunds after February 12, 2027. Transfers to MNRS colleagues are allowed at any time. To cancel a registration or make a substitution, email the Executive Office at info@mnrs.org or call (615) 432-0098.

Each year, MNRS hosts a state-of-the-art conference that draws attendees from all over the United States. This annual event is where members and non-members can come and showcase their work and network with leaders in the field, colleagues, and friends. From current students to seasoned veterans, MNRS can be home to anyone with a passion for nursing research!

Hotel Information

MNRS has reserved a discounted group rate of $204 (plus applicable taxes and fees) per night at The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Please note that the hotel room reservation link will be available in your paid registration confirmation email! You must be registered for the conference to make a room reservation. The deadline to reserve a room at the MNRS rate (pending availability) is February 26, 2027.
