  • Ann Stanton of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee was the recipient of the Dissertation Research Grant for her research titled "Mothers' Mental Health After Release from Incarceration"
  • Charles Smith of the University of North Dakota was the recipient of the Founders' Circle Endowment Grant for his research titled "Inner Strength in Men: A Descriptive Phenomenology"
  • Mary Whipple of the University of Minnesota was the recipient of the MNRS/CANS Dissertation Research Grant for her research titled "Diabetes and Sedentary Time in Outcomes of Exercise in PAD"
  • Anne Roll of the University of Wisconsin Madison was the recipient of the Sally Lusk Dissertation Research Grant for her research titled "Social Support Networks of Individuals with Down Syndrome"
